Autumn Make Up Wishlist

Welcome to Blogtober over here at the Queen Sapphire blog. This is my first year doing Blogtober so what better way to do it than to collab with the lovely Liz from It’s Fine!
This is my first post of the month so do make sure to keep an eye on the blog every day at 10am.

I’ve been super excited for Autumn this year, especially when it comes to make up. I can’t wait to see how many of these I can actually get by the end of Autumn. We shall see how that goes.

FENTY BEAUTY
PRO FILT’R SOFT MATTE LONGWEAR FOUNDATION
SHADE: 260
£26.00                                     www.harveynichols.com

I don’t think it takes a genius to figure out why I want this foundation so much. I have heard super amazing reviews about this foundation, so I’ve been really eager to try it since the big launch. I’m not entirely sure which shade I am so I’m going to have to really have a proper look into the shades. I would usually just wing it, order and if it’s not the right shade then ”oh well”. But it’s a little harder to say ”oh well” to £26.00 though. If I do manage to get my hands on this in the next few months I will definitely do a full review post or a YouTube video.

BENEFIT
POREFESSIONAL FACE PRIMER BALM TRAVEL SIZED MINI
£10.50                                     www.boots.com

Now, you’re probably wondering why on Earth I would want the travel size instead of the full sized product. There is actually two reasons for that. Number one, even though I have heard really positive reviews about this product, I want to try it out first. I have a long history of buying primers that don’t get along with my face. Number two, Boots are currently doing an offer which is 3 for £25 on selected Benefit minis. This offer includes Benefit’s Goof Proof Brow pencil, the Porefessional Matte Rescue Primer, the Gimme Brow Volumising Gel, and many more. The minis probably don’t benefit you as much if you already use the full sized version but if you’re looking to try out Benefit products like me, it’s definitely an awesome investment.

FENTY BEAUTY
KILLAWATT FREESTYLE HIGHLIGHTER
SHADE: TROPHY WIFE
£26.00                                                        www.harveynichols.com

So, yes! It does make my heart ache a little that this highlighter is the same price as their Pro Filt’r foundation… BUT JUST LOOK AT IT! It looks so pretty on the high point of the cheek bones. The foundation is definitely coming first on my list to actually purchase though.

REAL TECHNIQUES
BOLD METALS COLLECTION- 202 ANGLED LINER BRUSH
£12.00                                                     www.boots.com

I’m a liquid liner kinda girl so I don’t actually own an angled brush. I know right, what a shock. I’ve recently bought different coloured gel liners since I have a lot of Halloween looks to prepare. I’ve only seen good reviews once again for this all the Real Techniques brushes so I’m pretty excited to try this one. It will be an awesome addition to my new brush collection. Boots also have a sale on selected Bold Metals brushes, meaning this brush would only cost £8.00 if bought on the current sale.

JEFFREE STAR COSMETICS
VELOUR LIQUID LIPSTICK
SHADE: UNICORN BLOOD
£13.59                                                               jeffreestarcosmetics.com

I’m the sort of person that wears ”heathers” from the ABH liquid lipstick collection all year round so you can imagine what I’m screaming to get my hands on this Autumn. THIS SHADE! This shade is just something else. It looks absolutely stunning on the lips. I’m hoping it will look stunning on mine though as usually I see paler people wearing this and I’m quite tanned but I’m prepared to wing it for this beauty. Just in case I can’t get my hands on it this Autumn though, Christmas comes shortly after (hint hint wink wink nudge nudge).

I hope you all enjoy this post. There aren’t really a lot of products I’m particularly wishing to get this Autumn but these are definitely the main ones I NEED. What products are on your wishlist this Autumn? Let me know in the comments, or if you have a post already up, send it my way.

Remember, keep smiling!
