August Favourites

I have so many favourites at the minute. You can’t even begin to imagine how long it took me to choose just a few products for this post. There weather here has been a little bit of a roller coaster. Some days the weather is so good and off you go packing your beach bag. Then other days the wind is crazy and you almost drown when you step out of the door. Or is that just the British weather? Anyway, enough of the forecast report. Lets get down to business!

Lanolips Lip Ointment with colour SPF15

My lips have been insanely dry recently so I decided it was about time I finally started using the Lanolips lip ointment. I’ve had this one for a little while, I don’t know if they have changed the formula or just the packaging since but I can’t seem to find this particular one anywhere online. One of the things I love about this lip ointment is that it contains no artificial fragrances, parabens, petroleum or mineral oil and sulfates. It’s a thick-ish consistency but I feel that that’s what makes it work so well. It always leaves my lips silky smooth even if I don’t use it every single day.

Lime Crime Matte Velvetines Liquid Lipstick in shade ”Faded”

I have always loved the matte velvetines but I have been loving the shade ”Faded” this month. The weather has been rubbish this month so I haven’t been wearing much foundation, I needed a shade that would look good on my tanned skin but also wouldn’t budge as I still melted throughout the day, and this is it! This shade is classed as a light mauve but to me, it looks more like a lilac. I love how it dries matte and goes so well with nude eye looks.

Maybelline The Eraser Eye Perfect & Cover Concealer

This has been my go to concealer ever since that crazy heatwave hit the UK. I find this concealer really light weight and it covers up my dark circles really well. It does need some baking to survive the warmer days but I still love it.

The Body Shop Oils of Life- Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil

Last but not least, this one has been saving my skin. My skin has been super dry recently and my make up has been looking insanely flaky in the t-zone area. I’ve been applying this facial oil all over my face every morning a couple of hours before I apply make up. I actually got this one in Glossybox but once it’s finished, I think I’ll have to buy it again because it’s just amazing.

  1. That’s the only concealer that’s ever been able to tackle my dark circles. Absolutley love how affordable it is. This is a great post! The lip gloss sounds gorgeous and now I really want some new matte shades aha
